>>20443752The arena goes dark, then a wrestler appears under cover of darkness to confront an unsuspecting foe. Wrestling fans have seen it more times than they can remember. But most never ask just how they do it. Some wrestlers of course can use their mysterious supernatural abilities to bring the darkness. This place employs demons and god knows what else after all.
But then there are wrestlers who don’t possess supernatural abilities. Wrestlers like Cassie Kade. An ass kicking machine, but a regular human. Probably. So just how does a woman like that manage one of these notorious ‘lights out’ entrances?
With a text apparently. A mere half an hour before the show, Kelly received a text from Cassie instructing her to head to the technical area during Kasumi’s match, and to turn the lights off after it ended. So that’s what Kelly did. She looks down at the technician who was on duty when she arrived as he lies dazed at her feet. Sadly, he wasn’t so keen on the idea.
>Sorry dude, but next time maybe don’t try to be a hero. When a woman like Cassie wants something done, it’s best for all of us that she gets her way.Kelly sighs. She’ll probably be fined for taking out the technician, but it’s better than what she had feared, or what might even still be coming. After all, in the months since Cassie’s departure, she had become embroiled in a violent rivalry with her younger sister Nikki, and grew to be very closely acquainted with Sheila Foster, a woman Kelly knew Cassie despised. A woman Kelly hoped to see again despite that fact.
All told, Kelly didn’t consider the idea of Cassie giving her a beating, much like the one Kanako received once those lights came back on to be particularly far fetched. So instead of joining Cassie and this new Lexi person in the ring, Kelly heads backstage, intending to find Kasumi in the interview area.
