i still listen to this track as well.
i bought them as they came out (PC), 1, 2 and contracts. in hindsight i now think contracts was probably the best one.
i remember being very impressed with the plant/cloth physics in hitman 1 at the time. the minigun was great.
i sperged over 2 and got silent assassin in every single level except that snowy jap one where there was a bug that made one of the guards get run over by their own trucks no matter what you did lol.
the art in the manual is also really good.
the tone really shifted when blood money came out, it was reasonably enjoyable but felt really casualised somehow and nowhere near as good as its predecessors.
haven't gone near the series since, nu-hitman sounds awful.
jesper kyd's work in 1, 2 and contracts was fantastic.
and of course the hitman voice actor - legend.
i'll have to give a nod to blood money despite what i wrote - purely for the ending credits wakeup scene and subsequent slaughter.
