I walked out of a pretty """good""" placement about 2 months ago
overall worst experience of my life
felt like being in prison, but with even weirder people
I did (or rather was forced to do) some pretty valuable stuff that was so fucking painfully shit that none of the boomers would do it, which seemed to make me quite popular
I found they are mostly dribbling morons with 0 ability to think abstractly
they are so god damn ineffective, they just work for the sake of it but get salty if I go home because I have fuck all to do
half of them just sit around and talk shit all day struggling to use outlook
shitty fucking open office so you're constantly on high alert, tried to move away from everyone and they got quite offended by this
not to mention the weird power trips, you can spot all the psychos a mile away when you're in that position
and even explicitly told one of my managers I'm getting used as cheap labour and it's fucking gay, he just had a lil boomer chuckle and continued to organise his email
by the end I just didn't give a fuck
I could already see my future all around me
looked shit
now I just sit at home programming software which I will eventually make money from
no way in hell I'm going back to that life
