I'm not against people with darker complexions or any complexion, I'm just facepalming at the historical inaccuracy for political reasons after anthropologists and historians have worked so hard to get the facts. Also, I take it personally as an attempt to alter the history of people who looked like me, for example we didn't accomplish as much. And of course, this is being done only to whites. I just hope that this fad passes and history doesn't go down this way.
If they care so much about people with darker complexions, they should make programs about African history, etc.
