I grew up in St. Louis and can confirm it's a shithole. Downtown is desolate and dangerous if there's not a Cardinals or a Blues game going on. The area has this weird city/county divide in which they fail to recognize they both suck. South and West County are nothing but copy/paste strip malls. North County and the Metro East are ghetto af. Tons of fat chicks and even the wealthier areas are relatively poor compared to other major cities. The zoo is pretty good, especially for being free and the City Museum is very unique and pretty fun, thats about it. RIP Fred.
