>>17432161Well, let me level with you. I had troubles with the demoralization and disbelief that proliferates the west as well. You will have to identify this as a unique phenomenon. I accept forms of non-empirical evidence. I can see the living spirit of my patriarch among my peers and the very clear impact he left. I don't try to box it in to anthropology or evolutionism, these are capacities that I've built up I think due to a spirit guiding me to wisdom. This is stated in some texts "when a man seeks wisdom, the angels love to guide him". But I grew up in the west, for most muslims it is a no brainer, it is like saying that the sky is blue. Many muslims scholars decry rationalism that has become so popular and demoralized many in the west... dont forget that for your ancestors you can find exactly the same unironic sentiments... you will have to find your own way to connect with it... thats why i encourage you to look to YOUR bloodline and your faith.
If I asked you to convert, you would be subject to my society and my faith, which is very well and fine but it would be an even bigger leap. Rather than asking you to convert, it's just not my bag, I would rather have you become a Christian and then for your church to convert when the global events take place.
Christians may call it the holy spirit. I was into Christianity when I was a teenager, and that revitalized the spirit, when I was unaware of many of these facts. You must reconnect to your own vital essence and whatever spirit is alive in your veins. Try to go for ancient apostolic institutions with a treasure trove of relics rather than protestant pop up denominations.
