80s & early 90s anime was the best. sex, gore, gritty & dark, fucking weird creative shit, art that actually took effort, no shitty out of place CGI. modern anime is only good to faggots who didn’t grow up hiding in their bedroom watching real anime when their parents weren’t looking because you never knew when a titty was going to pop out (lookin at you Ranma) or a rape or bloody head splitting scene would appear and you’d have to explain wtf these Japanese cartoons you’re watching are because at that point in the west “cartoons” were only bugs bunny shit and no one had seen anything like this before
