as well it's the continued issue that people simply cannot clarify their questions at all which leads to unbelievably confusion
we were learning the pattern 1週間に2回 and someone was deeply disoriented by 日. the solution the needed was that 1 is irregular since いちにち is a period of 1 day while ついたち is the first day of the month, but ふつか、みっか、よっか etc serve both purposes. this took about 15 minutes to resolve and i think they still didn't really get it by the end
