just skip to the end like a normal person... basically the new ones are way more efficient but have a much shorter lifespan. he said something like "this fridge is 50-100 dollars cheaper per year so if you keep it for 7 years it should pay for itself... but it's not guaranteed that it'll last 7 years". ridiculous if you ask me, i've never even heard of a major appliance breaking down in less than 15 years.
