I essentially used pic related for the more northern regions (here, Wezer and South Corner)
By the 20th century, I think most of those areas were predominantly shifting towards higher German, and away from the Low dialects that gave them closer affinity with the Netherlands - however, this map takes more into account than just the 20th century, so there may have been a time that this could've happened.
