>>23611966Originally yeah, I think from the north as whole, but they have spread through all of Italy and you can find them everywhere. It's the same for a lot of these regional dishes, pizza is from Campania but you find it everywhere, Tiramisu is from Veneto but there's no restaurant where you can't find it (and honestly they make it the best in Rome), arancini are from Sicilia but they make the best ones in Naples.
