>>8999408i don't know, i didn't stay there anywhere near as long as here, and 8ch does not have an archive, despite what the people there say to the contrary: there are occasionally individual archived threads, but there is nothing on the scale of 4plebs, warosu, fireden, yuki, etc. that means unless a thread was specifically archived offsite by someone, which is rare, i can only see what is currently active, and i can hardly do any analysis with that unless i went full autist and archived it myself
it also kinda depends on what you mean by regular: there are few people on /ptg/ as active as me (12+ hours a day), there are a few more as active as the "regulars" as you probably see them (6+ish hours a day?) and a lot of people that check in regularly but don't stay around very long, as well as a shitton of guests and an untold number of lurkers
i would say the larpers aren't as numerous judging by the speed of their threads but they are far more willing to directly engage audiences outside of the board, which is why it has spread to boomers who don't even know anything about imageboards and the culture. they'll make accounts repeatedly on twitter or w/e to post their "dumps" and if they start getting got for directly posting Q, they'll post tangential stuff in order to draw people in
