Actually, I wonder how many of us will even bother coming to forums like these anymore...but perhaps chatbots themselves could also serve to augment these places. How will we know that the anonymous we're replying too isn't just a chatbot at that point? It seems logical for businesses to pay for these services, since having charming chatbots would arouse interest and probably lead to having a higher user count than forums that don't. And maybe forums that only exclusively allow verified humans to post will surge in popularity.
The future is coming, and I'm not quite sure what chaos AI will unleash on it...though I do look forward to my own personal assistant.
