>>20333374I've found it interesting how many cobs seem to show up over there in Frogland, do you know why? Did Spaniards like paying for your wine and cheese with cobs or are they "bring-backs" from French merchants working in the Caribbean and Americas?
>Beside spanish coinage, are there any others "specialties" you burgers are fond of i should be aware of/look after?Basically any North, Central and South American and Caribbean colonial coins, whether Spanish, English, French, Danish, Portuguese etc. Coins of Puerto Rico from before the USA mercilessly raped Spain in 1898 and kingdom of Hawaii coins from 1847 and 1883 are very desirable.
It occurred to me that you might have access to very rare pieces that frogs could have gotten in New Orleans like picrel, it's cut Spanish silver made by the Planter's Bank in New Orleans from 1811-1815, most got collected and sent to the Philadelphia mint to be coined after the end of the war of 1812 so the remaining specimens are worth like $5k-15k+ each. If you see any in your random lots you must slurp harder than you've ever slurped in the history of slurping
