>>19111748>>19111754Yokoko was just as intimidating as she looked. While Shogun faced the martial artist head-on and tried to suppress any chance of her beginning her crushing offense, nothing she had was QUITE good enough to put her away. She heard eager giggles every time she kicked out of a Wheel of Fortune or every time she had Shogun locked in a hold; it was paradoxical, but the longer the fight went on, the more Yokoko was energized.
Shogun would be lying to say she wasn't feeling the adrenaline rush, but definitely not to the extent of her opponent. No, quite the opposite: it was beginning to drain as Yokoko locked her in a rear naked choke, and she knew that it wouldn't be long before she'd be tapping out or unconscious.
With some quick thinking, Shogun fought her way out by elbowing Yokoko in the side, and with that crushing grip ever so slightly loosened, used her acrobatic talents to flip over and pin the girl's shoulders down out of the blue!
"One! Two! THREE!"
Three rings later, and Shogun made it onto her feet. Stumbling around, drenched in sweat, and nearly tripping over Yokoko...but she won her first match of the tournament against one hell of a force to be reckoned with.
She pumped her arms in the air as her music played, and while she was sore, she felt as if she could go again any second! This momentum would serve her well going forward, she was sure of it.
>YES! It's my win!>I have to admit, Yokoko Zuna, you certainly know your way around a ring.>If you could control yourself just a little bit, I'd daresay I'd fight you anytime, anywhere.>This is EXACTLY what I was looking for! I mean, I felt things in that fight I didn't even know I could feel! >My heart pounding out of my chest...>Every nerve in my body tingling...>My feet standing on something elastic and springy...>The rush of--wait a minute.Shogun looked back at where she was when she pinned Yokoko, and realized that she had some leverage when she pinned her.
Not again...
