I've heard that some of the 'crashed' ayyplanes after the WW2 were also causing serious discomfort to those located nearby, things were so bad, and some began to think they were weapons, so a decision was made to try and get rid of them. But there was Cold War, which meant it would be virtually impossible to dispose of them without Russians and the rest noticing. I can't remember the details further, but it makes wonder how much have things changed since then. Well we have Space Force™, oh and the 3 biggest countries just casually got each their own DEW literally overnight, and noone in the world semeed to be particularly shocked by that...
I'd love to be wrong on this, but i would guess there are many more such monoliths scattered across the world, radiating evil and corrupting those around it? Perhaps Aztecs were also influenced by some stones, hmm another rabbit hole to lose myself in...
