That being said, they are a challenge but anything worth having is hard. They’re incredibly smart dogs and that’s why they’re hard. They will challenge your resolve daily for probably the first year but after that, they’re extremely loyal. They test you at first to see if you’re worth following as a leader. If you fail them, they’ll walk all over you but if they respect you (which they will if you’re consistent and don’t get lazy in training them), then they’ll be incredibly easy to train after that. It’s very rewarding to take a doggo pup that walks all over you at first and turning them into an effective member of doggo society.
