It didn't used to always be that way. They used to be /bant/'s biggest source of drawfags and organized some of /bant/'s greatest moments like PixelCanvas and the Kagarifag fight, back when they had more sophisticated users. But even then, I still notice all the good things produced by the nice posters, and how often they do it, and for that reason I still believe in them! Because Yuyukow believed in them!
