They went on to things that appealed to older people (assuming they had any talent in the first place) or got married, got into politics, went to school, became teachers, etc. Nothing in their past was so bad that they couldn't overcome it in the next part of their lives and even if they were total degenerates, nobody knew or talked about it because people were discreet. Those who consumed gossip and such were considered crackpots, busybodies and all around dumb people.
With their pasts so abjectly degenerate, none of that shit can be overcome anymore - it is a block to leaving that life behind and moving on - and that's just what we know about because they revealed it to stay popular. There's a permanent record somewhere of most of the stuff that's still "secret."
The only path left for them is to simply become aging whores. Swift, Madonna, Cyrus, Spears, Hilton, you name it. It's going to get very, very ugly. Think Tina Louise times infinity.
