People might, and let me stress MIGHT, respect the fact that you don't say MUCH unless you have to or its a really good time and appropriate to do so. A lot of people think I'm really funny, including women, and I'm generally not even trying to be.
Basically my entire MO is that I try to talk as little as possible, however anytime I must talk a lot I try to be slightly humorous and on-topic. Most of the time you will want to be humorous, just don't over do it.
In terms of how much to talk you'll find a balance eventually, since it kinda depends on the person, but you'll just need to get experience. Maybe get a job like I have? Don't really know what the job market is like in Trinidad and Tobago.
