Reminds me of a laptop I stored with someone. Hope he still has it. Only the power jack and power supply was broken.
Probably put XP on it. And INVI windowblinds skin from Deviantart. By 007 Tinar. Like my Vaio TR. If not I should have. As long as didn't reduce RAM.* (* it didn't, I changed the /ini of DmC to use DX11, looked better but had issues.)
V RAM wasn't an issue. Lower res is preferable and solves that. I got Fallout 4 looking better and performing better (Constant 60fps) with 4x worse hardware than the PS4. Shit game but shows off TAA and how great it is. Just a problem under 640x360 in being too blurry. But that probably a problem with scaling not being nearest neighbor. Whoever made bilinear the standard did the wrong thing. Great on the N64, utter shit elsewhere.
Texture sizes don't seem to impact performance for some reason either. Geometry does. Less geometry increases performance a lot. You don't need to see complex geometry at distance especially at low res. Should be pictures anyway, so still high geometry.
Not a matter of reduction.
A matter of only producing what is perfect.
