'ate ipas, just really nasty bitter shit. i genuinely don't understand how it became the go-to beer type for beer connoisseurs. what does black mean? higher alcohol content or just dark beer?
i'm in a bit of a self imposed lockdown since i've had contact with someone who tested positive for the corolla virus so i ordered groceries online. thankfully they had unfiltered and unpasteurized beer on the site. now that's the good shit. it goes bad in 3-4 days but the taste is by far my favorite of the beers i've had. if you really have local breweries you should ask about that. idk if they make unfiltered ipas but i'd avoid that, mine's probably a lager idk
