Just be sure to aim for the weak part of the skull at a critical part of the brain or else you'll regret it. You should be fine as long as your not trying to An Hero with 410 guage, 45lc or 357 should be fine.
Bond Derringers are great for shooting multiple forms of ammo without having to own a whole bunch of guns but I wouldn't recommend An Hero-ing with one, just get a Hi-point instead OP.
I wish I could find the image that showed how to properly point it at the bottom of your skull but I'm sure someone else has it.
Also try getting help first before considering this unless things are REALLY fucked then yeah a quick way out is probably for the best since I don't know what it's like to be in your shoes.
