It wouldn't make much difference even if that hole wasn't there. She's still just a "look how quirky she is! (but has a dark backstory so it's really mature...)" character. There's a reason why she attracts faggot-ass secondaries more than any other hu (except maybe Flandre but they might as well be the same character), cause she's one of the most generic anime archetypes possible.
