His sentiments on it are pretty much exactly the same as my own. It improves everything about the xen sections except the interloper section being way too long and repetitive. You're mostly inside an alien base at that point with everything being this grimy, organic, red jumble of visuals. The puzzles are fine but also get boring after a few times. He says 90 minutes but I saved right at the start of that section and picked it up the following day and it took several hours before I finished it with only a couple short hold ups.
If it had been only 90 minutes it would've been great but I get why they would want people to spend more time there after all the effort they've clearly put into redoing everything.
I meant the original one. The remake was pretty fun I thought. Good score as well.
makes sense, the leap between hl1 and 2 is pretty substantial.
