>got the Shanling UA2I got the shanling ua2. there's a satanic who destroyed the EQ of the DAC. the attack on the EQ translated onto the Chip. the Sabre ES9038Q2M is damaged because of it. i remember it again and heard the talks about it. they EQued it with a hollow bathtube sound. it's terrible. the chip is amazing, still after the hit inside the architecture, but for on the go on the smartphone, without any adjustings, it's not tolerable. espescially for the money. the UA5 would be the perfect device for smartphones then, but it's not, i'm angered about this. the Sabre ES9038Q2M sounds energetically like i feel, which i recognized as an attack on my personality. i would still advice the UA5 and UA2 if you have the money and are able to configure the android lossless audio drivers with the EQing and all. but i would rather advice to use the Shanling M9, it's unobstructed and high quality with future audio processing leading components. the M9 has to be renewed too, with the Snapdragon refresh and the swapable components have to be extended to support surround sound and all, but other than that, that will be on of the only real audio tech which you will be able to buy. also the audio codec has to be improved, the device should support DSD 1024. it does MQA, but MQA independently is not the full technology, it has to be combined with DSD together. i don't know how far you can compress DSD wwith MQA, but we will see and update the device or i will make one by myself. i will see. but i would rather have them have the real product, so we will refresh it and then i will work on my tech.
also it becomes warm/hot. i wwouldn't leave that DAC out in the sun. it's unpleasant to touch after half an hour musicplay.
