I knew about 4chan since late 2004-2005ish but it always seemed like somewhere that was way out of my league, so I was just a secondary who consumed 4chan content from other sites. I tried posting in 2005 on /a/ and got shitposted so hard for my tastes and how I posted that I didn't come back until the Code Geass R2 hype train in 2008 and stayed.
