>>19710100>[As Carmody Jefferson gazes out over Cyberia, Sola Fire is still transfixed on Carmody.]Sola's eyes trace every contour of Carmody's face: her wavy brunette hair is effortlessly flawless, framing the masterpiece itself; her forehead, so unlike Colby's, but similar at the same time; her eyebrows are thick and perfectly groomed, betraying every emotion; her slightly pointy nose, that Sola finds adorable in every way; those full lips, and all the things that Sola wants to do with them, or to them. Where did this woman come from, and how did she affect Sola so intensely, so quickly? When Carmody muses on the view, Sola responds without thinking.
"…it's perfect."
Sola wants to say so many things. Ask so many things. Do so many things. But she doesn't want to break this moment. The content smile on Carmody's face as her eyes scan the cyberpunk horizon is all that Sola ever needs. All the troubles with Amy feel so meaningless. Her issues with all of those people from her past are nothing compared to what her future could be.
Sola sees Carmody glance sideways at her, before flitting her eyes to the doors they came through. The balcony is empty in the cool night air -- it must be early morning by now? The neon lights make it difficult to tell. But the two young lovers are alone out here, and Carmody makes the most of the moment. Sola eyes go wide and she can't stop a goofy grin from coming across her face, letting the image burn into her mind… not that Sola won't hopefully see them again or much more by the end of the night. Carmody covers herself up, and Sola moves into put a hand around her angel's waist.
"This was a great idea. Coming out tonight, I mean. I've had a great time. I… love you, so much."
