I kind of see how self defeating the pursuit of Freedom can be at times, because when you look at America it's like there's no shared unity or goals that are to be really strived for. The country is kind of chaotic and there are many entities groups and organizations that have kind of came and gone from levels of influence and it seems like they only had a fleeting and passing effect, only to be disjointed by other separate entities and groups. I wonder then if freedom is too vague of a concept maybe perhaps.
