She's clearly unhappy, and Carmody, not even knowing about the trouble brewing as a result of Sola's ill-worded text to Mare, can only assume that she saw the same video from Nika that Carmody herself just did. Her approach and tone becomes more conciliatory.
>"Oh. Hey, I saw Nika's video too. Don't let her get you down. We're gonna fight back. I'll watch your back like you watched mine."But it's obviously so much more than that. For Carmody, it would be enough to kick Lightning Nika square in the face, vanquish her, and more forward with her career, but with Sola it's not that simple. As Carmody has learned about the history of the WWA, she's learned more about the Yellowjackets, and the history that Sola Fire and Lightning Nika shared. She steps forward and offers Sola Fire a hug.
