You would think it would be minor compared to an amputation, like you wouldn't notice since you have another eye. But it's constant, it takes years to adjust completely, and will fuck your mind over.
Not saying you shouldn't do lasik, you would probably be fine. Just ask yourself if the risks really do outweigh the rewards.
