This is exactly what GPS uses, the SAME system we have been using for 200 years, long before GPS.
You can plot in a X and a Y coordinate and land at the EXACT spot in the world, every time. This is IMPOSSIBLE with flat earth since the coordinates are based on 360 degrees.
