>>16318046>unless those evil urges themselves are inherently demonic influencesyea i guess but its like saying what if we're in the matrix
i think it doesnt add up because, you figure that if the demons are influencing you to do these things that are considered bad, then the opposite is angels influencing you to do good ones, right? i mean thats the only way it makes sense so im assuming so
why wouldnt good in the world outweigh the bad then
because as you can see the case isnt so
what, the angels influence just wasnt as powerful as the demons?
or is it that humans with their free will just choose to do these bad things more than the good?
but if "free will" is nothing more than adhering to either the urge of "good or "bad" then how do the circumstances a lot of people are in reflect that
imagine ur a child soldier in a wartorn country
ur brought up your whole life to do the things that are defined as "bad" and its all you know
where do the good urges come in here and why dont we see them
its easy to apply the idea to your own life because its a much calmer one than that, but the reality is that the majority of the people in the world just lead absolute garbage ones like that where they have no choice over what becomes of them
theres not really a "good" urge to follow when ur entire life its been nothing but the "bad" that you see all around you
is that considered fair somehow? what, some people get to have lives where they get to exercise the free will whether to follow good or bad urges while some are just fucked straight off the bat, because of the environment? why arent they given a fair shot at it as well
imo that does undermine free will like u said
and how about animals, would they all completely get along if it werent for demons influencing them to kill and eat each other also?
thats like saying the food chain isnt a natural biological happening and its influenced upon them to be that way
