>>16175799I don't even think Mercedes manufacture manual gearboxes themselves. A guy I used to work with bought a "cheap" Merc with a manual box. He got ripped off, it cost him £15k IIRC. We were talking shit to him because I think it was a Renault or a Peugeot gearbox and engine with a Mercedes chassis. I've actually never driven an auto in my life but I would love to buy an old luxury car like a 10-15 year old S Class or a Rolls Royce or a Bentley from the 80's just to cruise around in. I used to be all about tight handling and stuff like that but I'm getting a bit soft in my old age.
