However, keep in mind that the Exodus account makes it clear that ALL of the chariots in Egypt were lost at the bottom of the Red Sea. So if that story is true we should not expect to find any chariots from that time or earlier. This doesn't mean that Egypt had no chariots, it only means they were all lost at a specific point in time.
