www.estatesales.net for local in-person estate sales in your area and then show up before the doors open on the 1st day so you're among the first people allowed inside. I slurped this box of sterling for $50 at a productive estate sale, got lots of other sterling there so IIRC I paid $133 for close to 2 kilos and also got some scrap gold, awesome valuable antiques, fossils and Indian artifacts cheap, that was a fun sale.
