I left Catholicism briefly for a stint in Norse Polytheism....
Now I'm Catholic again.
The "worship" was an absolute joke. It was more like a couple of weirdos getting together for beers. We would pour a libation into a common bowl, and the bowl would be poured later on the horgr.
Of course it was at like 3 fucking a.m. that the bowl wasn't fully poured.
This was the only pagan group I could find in a city of 8 million people... and it was like 20 people.
It felt like LARPing.
Pagans don't really believe in their religion. They just use it as a vehicle for their ideologies. There are the 3 categories of these people in my experience:
1. Neo-Nazis and fat rednecks
2. LGBT cultists and Wiccan weirdos
3. Nerds who want to become Asatruar because they watch the TV show Vikings a few times.
I still stayed in their FaceBook group to watch the hilarious bullshit they would say, here's a screenshot.
Abandon your infant-sacrificing, LARPing make believe religion and believe in the Gospel of the Lord Christ Jesus and enter the unity of the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church before you die and enter eternal damnation.
