Every popular experiment in quantum physics is either misinterpreted or misrepresented as something completely beside the already moronic point it was trying to make.
The double slit experiment is improvable because the whole premise originally lies in the notion that "observation affects outcome" which has jack shit to do with looking at the fucking slits.
It refers to the fact that, in order to observe a particle, you have to interact with it in some form. You have to hit it with another particle and record the effects of the reaction.
That interaction is what changes the initial state of the particle and you have no way of knowing what it was before.
Just looking at a bunch of cardboard cutouts to see if something happens (or doesn't), was never more than a very bad analogy given out to some retarded journalist by some fraudulent researcher who wanted more money, and fed to the masses until it became the cancerous and retarded cultural fad that you know misunderstand today.
