Yeah like I said I've never done it but have cooked enough to be able to spitball. If you don't like the taste of dill just swap out for rosemary or some other aromatic.
You could also try coating the skin in some parmesan, that should crisp up nicely.
You could get really weird and fry the skin crispy, toss some fun shit in to a spray bottle, spritz the skin then toss it in a broiler for a few minutes to evaporate the liquid.
