An unskilled application from someone who just wants "an angel" will run the prompt and get exactly what they want, because they had no real grasp on what they want to begin with. A skilled person will know exactly what they want, and the AI will not provide it. If you've ever seen the ABCDE-12345 apple picture, it's that. 0's will think AI is the most amazing thing, 5's wont.
However a skilled person will be able to use an AI generation as a base and work from that to create a real work (similarly to starting with a photo and working from there), thus increasing their output while decreasing the time required. This will further increase their popularity and smaller artists will seethe even louder than they currently do, as the wave of skilled art further overshadows them.
Personally I think that plugin is looking great. I would love to be able to start with a semi-solid AI generated background and paint over it instead of starting from scratch when I'm drawing my waifu getting railed.
