>>19236403Yet again, the more things change, the more they stay the same. Shogun hears Spanish curse after Spanish insult as her and La Jefa pummel each other senselessly, something she’s more than familiar with. While defending her honor is one thing, and not letting La Jefa get the best of her is another…the chance to stay in the tournament is even more of another. Even with guilt still in her soul, wondering if she’s supposed to be here, by the time she locks in Hallowed Hell…all she knows is that she wants to be, and never wants to leave. No matter how long it takes to make things right, she can’t give up!
She locks on for dear life, praying and praying that La Jefa gives up…and yet again, she does.
As the bell rings, Shogun breaks the hold and celebrates.
>(I live to see another tourney match…the odds are slim, perhaps, but I’m still in this!)Shogun, yet again, calls for a microphone, and motions to the slowly recovering La Jefa as she sits atop a turnbuckle to rest.
>Once again, the only thing you “saved” anyone from is listening to you blather on about your own little world, which no one’s interested in hearing about.>This crowd…they want results. They want the reality of wrestling.>And the reality of wrestling right now is that Shogun Aina WILL NEVER, EVER, *EVER,* fall to Raquel Durango as long as she lives!>”Ojo por Ojo?” An eye for an eye? That’s certainly one way to get justice for people that, last I recall, you’d cast away the second they disappoint you.>But I intend, for now, to redeem MYSELF. By beating you clean, like I just did. By beating EVERYONE clean, like I just did, B1 victory or no B1 victory! She looks into a nearby camera:
>You all serve as a better judge than La Jefa ever will.>…I don’t deserve your patience. I really don’t.>But I appreciate it, and I promise not to take it for granted.>It’d be a lie to say I don’t care if I win…but I swear, to all of you, that I’m NOT taking the easy way out!
