>>17303823I've got several trays of seeds I'm trying to start indoors. Put a heat pad under a set of shelves in my basement, attached grow lights on each level, and wrapped the whole thing in space blanket. Unfortunately at the moment the only seeds actually sprouting are iceberg lettuce, brussels sprouts, and broccoli. Lots of other seeds showing no activity.
I've got a collection of other seeds that don't get started early, hopefully they'll fare better, just waiting for the last frost.
Outside I've got two cleared areas that will be my garden beds. I've also got some containers intend to repurpose as giant planters/raised beds. Gonna put them at the end of my driveway, filled with potting soil, and plant carrots in them.
Finally I'm planting native Paw Paw trees. Most of my property is wooded, tall maples (I made syrup a few weeks ago!). Not enough light for growing much, but Paw Paws are an understory tree. I'm spending a fair bit of money to buy trees this year to transplant. I hope to use their seeds in the coming years to spread Paw Paws all over my property. Create a sort of understory orchard.
