Saying college is useless is dumb, but going to community college to get basic credits out of the way for 1/3 of the cost of general university makes more sense and gives you time to analyze the market. Once in college you should do as many internships as possible to build connections.
The big problem with university is that boomers in their 60s/gen xers in their 50s tell every teenager "haha yeah just get a degree and you'll have it made" because they cannot fathom it isn't 1980 anymore and times have changed.
