But as most breeds a group of greed stupid breeders made a mess in a lot of the gene pool. There are a bunch of genetic problems mapped so I'll won't list them but I'll tell you this:
If a female is impregnated as son as she goes trough the first heat the litter will have some serious problems in the long go. Their bodies aren't yet regulating the hormone imbalance and rates of nutrient loss/regain and it will affect the fetus development. Minimum of 3 heats, 5 its the way to go.
And if you can trace their lineage, know that the ones that spawn from the DDR and other countries that were plagued by communism last century they tent to be more apapt to guard duty and have a quicker reaction due to larger hip structure. (they breed for duty dogs)
The ones breed in the west tent to have lower hips, shorter back legs and are more docile as they were breed to be family friendly and parade dogs.
