>>9153686thanks man, i have made general tso chicken before and it was great. funnily enough, i followed my home board /ck/'s advice and recreated a recipe from jack scalfani (affectionately known as ja/ck/, he is an absolute dogshit cook and we (used to) love to make fun of him (before he had his two strokes; now his videos are just sad)) except i used my brain when i did it and it turned out great! its very delicious. the first time i did it i used red thai chilis, the second time i used a mix of red thai chilis and scotch bonnets. scotch bonnets are really fucking hot man but god damn that was some good ass chicken.
i have tried two different curry recipes before, one called for "curry paste" and the other called for "curry powder". i was certain there has to be a way to do it from scratch without using pre-made curry paste or powder, but both times ive tried it just tastes flavourless. basically i was trying to buy ingredients to make the curry paste/powder/flavour myself without having to resort to buying a pre-made one but i have had no success yet
