Uber is available in all these cities and instead of hotels you can stay in airbnb or trivago departments or small houses, specially if you want to travel with someone, they are way cheaper, more intimate and more comfortable for groups or families than hotels.
There is an international airport in Vallarta but if you arrive instead in Guadalajara and travel via bus towards the west the landscape is worth the time.
