As long as I can remember I was really shit at school, but a year or two ago my parents kept pressuring me to get anything above C's and my teachers were frustrated with my laziness.
Eventually in one class(global studies) we had to write a fuckton on something we deemed historically important; I ended up doing a 30 or so page essay(biggest project I wrote until then) on the Irish Hunger (Great Irish Famine) and ever since I got hooked on writing and history.
Long story short I written really long and stupid fucking stories, and over-done writing assignments like a bitch to the point my teachers thought I was plagiarizing, or punishing them, but recently I got put into online school and wrote over 4000 words on some shitty assignment about typing words coming to mind for 20 minutes, and then organize those into group ideas, then writing a story based on two groups.
The teacher said she hopes I become a writer, and I can't tell if she's being nice or actually legit, and if I do become a writer, where should I start? I'm thinking about making a text game in Twine or some shit, but I really don't want to write so much and have people not enjoy it because I suck and a teacher never told me.
