If I put some cheese and pickle between two slices of pic rel, I'd call it a cheese and pickle sandwich, despite them both technically being sandwiches. If I put chips in the previous picture, I might call it a chip cob or chip butty, if I put chips in pic rel, I'd call it a chip butty. Normally I'd just fold one slice around some chips, maybe with some mushy peas spread on it, then dip it in some ketchup.
