I don't know why but people generally behave better where I live in the winter. Usually here in the summer it's very hot, sometimes up to 100 degrees, and sometimes in the winter it gets well below freezing and we have 2 or 3 feet of snow. In the summer, the streets are full of college frat boys and their stupid lawn parties where they yell, play loud music, throw beer cans everywhere and run around shirtless. There are people playing loud music from their cars, vibrating the whole neighborhood with the earthquake causing subwoofers, the streets fill up with trash. But, in the winter, these people don't seem to have any desire to go outside. The stores don't have as many nutjobs, the atmosphere is generally a lot more quiet and peaceful.
