Maria blinked at the sharp lights of the camera as a bottle of water was put down in front of her, notably less cameras on her as when she won the title. Was her legacy forgotten so quickly already. She smirked, shaking the thought out of her head as people bombarded her with questions, most of which Maria wasn't even registering due to an intense ringing in her her ears.
>"Sorry, could you repeat that?"She asks, working up an apologetic smile.
"Certainly, you said after claiming the IC title that this would be your last title reign, do you still stand by that?"
Maria nodded after a second, moving some hair out of her face and taking a sip from the cold water.
>"I do, I felt like I've given it my all. I'm satisfied with my run. Sure every champion would like for their reign to last forever. But no champion is eternal. That's the name of the game. I picked my battle, I lost, and I have to live with. As for this being my last title reign, yes. The federation belongs to the young and the hungry. I'm neither. I've had my time in the spotlight, but it's time for me to take a step back. Though if some champion, somewhere down the line would like to lock up with me, all they've got to do is ask. I'm hurt, I'm tired, but I work with wonderful people. But before that, I do have some...personal things to take care off first. Because to be honest, I wasn't medically cleared for my battle against Ash ,I certainly wasn't cleared for my struggle with Karna, and I absolutely wasn't medically ready for this war.
